This shirt is pretty close to perfect - I love the cut (super flattering), the feel of the fabric, and it doesn't make me feel hot in Singapore's recent heatwave. Super comfortable - no regrets.
The only minor flaw is that it pilled pretty quickly (like within the first 2 wears) in one small corner from rubbing against the specific cotton tote bag I was carrying. I've carried other bags that rubbed against this shirt since, on different shoulders and sides and there has been no further pilling.
Pilling is very normal for merino and can be rectified easily with a fabric shaver, so no big complaints from me. If there's a way to prevent entirely, that'd be amazing but all materials have their limitations when put through real wear.
On the whole, loving it - boyfriend has commented it fits very nicely. And I've been wearing it everywhere - around the neighbourhood, to work, with pretty skirts etc. I've even accidentally worn it inside out and my colleagues were unsure if it was the intended design cos even the inside looks nice LOL.
Looking forward to taking it with me on a multi-day hike later this year! And I hope Goliath releases one in a dark navy blue!!!

The material is so soft and comfyyyy! Wore it for 5 days straight during my US trip in summer and really no odour?! Esp love the glacier depth colour!!

Am usually very sensitive to wool (cashmere, merino, etc), but can report this t-shirt has no itchy bits at all. All parts so soft, even in sticky humid weather of Singapore in May. Another bonus is no itchy/scratchy labels/tags too. Sweat dries off quickly and not smelly after. Really appreciate the printed on and easy to understand washing instructions on the inside of the t-shirt. It would be the best if the neck part is looser/wider for people with thick neck, but it's not a deal breaker - might be useful in cool/cold weather.

Where is Goliath from?
Goliath is a Singapore-born outdoor brand, focused on creating thoughtfully designed, technical outdoor gear for hiking, travel, climbing, mountaineering and everyday adventures.
We started Goliath with a simple goal: to create high-performance outdoor gear that delivers where it matters, without the unnecessary mark-ups often associated with larger international brands.
While we are proudly based in Singapore, our gear is built for adventures wherever they may take you.
Are Goliath products designed by you, or are they existing OEM/ODM designs?
All Goliath products are designed by us from the ground up, not pre-made factory designs with our logo added.
We develop the features, specifications and construction based on real outdoor experience, alongside feedback from experienced hikers, climbers, athletes and members of the outdoor community.
Our manufacturing partners are experienced technical apparel factories that also produce for established international outdoor brands, giving us strong manufacturing expertise while keeping every product distinctly Goliath.
How do you develop and test your products?
Many of our products start with a problem we have encountered outdoors.
From there, we go through multiple rounds of sampling, real-world testing and refinement. We also put our gear into the hands of experienced outdoor users for honest feedback.
If something can be improved, whether it is a fabric, zipper, pocket or construction detail, we keep working on it. That process never really stops, and we think that’s a good thing.
How does Goliath approach sustainability?
We are still a young brand and do not claim to have everything figured out. We simply try to make more responsible choices wherever we can.
Our current efforts include PFAS-free materials and treatments across our technical outerwear, recyclable packaging, ethically sourced Woolmark-certified Merino wool, and working with Fair Trade Certified™ factories where applicable.
We also believe in making gear that is useful, durable and designed to stay with you for many adventures.

Do you have a physical store or showroom where I can try products?
We do not currently operate a retail store, but customers in Singapore can arrange to visit our warehouse and office in Tai Seng, around a 4-minute walk from Tai Seng MRT, to view and try on our products.

Can I exchange my order for a different size?
Yes, provided your item meets the conditions in our Returns & Exchanges Policy.
Singapore Orders
Email hello@goliathoutdoor.co or message us on Instagram @goliath.outdoor. We will send you a Calendly link to arrange an in-person size exchange at our Tai Seng warehouse and office. Exchange availability is based on the current stock shown on our website.
International Orders
Contact us by email or Instagram and we will guide you through the process. International customers will need to cover the return shipping cost to us. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
What warranty do you provide for manufacturing defects?
We offer a 30-day return window for unworn products.
For genuine manufacturing defects that appear after this period, such as seam tape failure, membrane issues, or construction faults, we review each case individually rather than applying a blanket lifetime warranty.
We’re still a young independent brand, and we price our products intentionally below many larger outdoor brands with similar technical specifications. Because of that, we’re not yet in a position to offer the same extensive lifetime warranty structures as the biggest players in the industry.
That said, we truly stand behind what we make.
If something isn’t right, please reach out with your order details, photos, and a short explanation. We’ll always take a fair look and do our best to make things right for our customers.
How should I wash and care for my Goliath gear?
Care instructions differ depending on the material and product. Technical shells, merino wool and fleece all require slightly different care.
Always check the garment care label and refer to our Product Care page for detailed instructions. Proper care will help preserve your gear's performance and extend its lifespan.
